The Company

A world-famous centre for IVF treatment, based in stunning, relaxed rural surroundings just outside of Cambridge. Over the last 30 years, they have helped thousands of couples to successfully conceive by using the most advanced technology available, making every single client feel completely welcome and supported. This company has an excellent reputation for its staff development, working environment and buzzing atmosphere. Due to a massive NHS investment, there are THREE new vacancies for qualified Nurses with good post-registration experience.

The Role

Using your Nursing background and interest in Fertility to the full, you will provide a broad nursing service to ensure that the best possible care and assistance is given to all patients undergoing assisted conception. Following all standard procedures (e.g. the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority Code of Practice), you will learn all about the different IVF treatments on offer and become an expert in IVF care. You must maintain all confidential patient records (which will involve some computer work) and excellent bedside manner is essential.

This is mostly a Monday-Friday role, though you will have to work some weekends (one a month, on average). Generally, the earliest start is 8am and the latest finish is 6pm. Extra shift premium rates are paid for unsocial hours (i.e. weekends and bank holidays).

Experience

The successful candidate will be a qualified Nurse with full current registration and up-to-date Life Support training (documentation will need to be seen). You must have a caring disposition, flexibility and attention to detail, together with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Experience of working in gynecology / feminine health will be a strong advantage.

You will need to be reliable and flexible, able to work some early shifts and weekends. General proficiency in Word and Excel is essential, together with Basic Life Support.

Due to the company's location, it is essential that you have your own transport.
